OverDrive and Libby

Digital Books, Audiobooks, Magazines and Videos For All Ages

Overdrive offers thousands of eBooks and audiobooks, and digital magazines for adults and kids to MVLC card holders. Libby is the app used to access Overdrive on mobile devices. To browse the collection, visit or download the Libby app to your mobile device.

You can read books in your browser with OverDrive Read or download the free Libby app on compatible devices. Sign in using library card. You'll be asked to identify your library and to enter your library card number and PIN (Hint: your PIN is the last 4 digits of the phone number associated with your library card). As a Massachusetts resident, you are able to access the Overdrive collections of all 8 consortia in the state. If you need help call the library or stop in with your device.

Hoopla is a streaming service that lets you instantly borrow eBooks, audiobooks, comics, music, & TV with your library card. Items are always available, so there's no waiting! You can access this content by downloading the Hoopla app, streaming to a TV or other device, or on a personal computer. There are no holds and no renewals in Hoopla. Create an account with your email address and then login with your library card.

Digital Movies & Television For All Ages

With Kanopy you can stream award-winning documentaries, rare and hard-to-find titles, film festival favorites, indie and classic films, PBS content, world cinema and the Great Courses with just your library card.
Allows for 5 checkouts per month. Borrowing limits reset on the first day of each calendar month. You can access this content by downloading the Kanopy app, streaming to a TV or other device, or on a personal computer.
