INTERLIBRARY LOAN
Interlibrary loan is a service provided by Merrimack Valley Library Consortium (MVLC) that allows patrons to request and borrow items that our library does not own.
Items can be requested by logging onto the MVLC catalog through this website. You will be asked to provide your borrower ID number (library card number) and your PIN (number available at the library).
If a book cannot be found in the MVLC catalog , you can search the Virtual Catalog from the MVLC website. The Virtual Catalog is a statewide collaborative effort of the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and provides electronic access to holdings in hundreds of libraries in the Commonwealth.
For items not in the MVLC catalog or the Virtual Catalog our librarians may be able to obtain an item from another local network or from libraries throughout the country who are part of the OCLC system.
