book sale
Each spring and fall the Friends of the Library hold a sale of used adult and
children’s books at the old town hall.
Thanks for a great book sale. We were able to raise $2,185.50. A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped with set up, sales and clean up. Our appreciation to the Pentucket Girls Tennis Team for helping out with our bake sale.
We are always looking for volunteers to help with set up, working during the book sale, and clean up after. Please contact the library, 978-363-1105 or katgove@mvlc.org, if you are able to help in any capacity.
A small sale of predominantly paperback books is on-going at the library.
The Friends gratefully accept donations of gently used books and other library materials such as DVDs, CDs, books on CD, etc. Please no encyclopedias, textbooks, video cassettes, magazines or condensed books.
The proceeds go to the Friends of the Library who generously support our Children's, Teen and Adult Programming and Museum Passes as well as printing bookmarks and purchase and maintenance of our copy machine.
