- Library Update!
We want to thank everyone who supported the Library Special Article at the last Annual Town Meeting. The Children's Room has undergone a transformation! We could not have done it without you! We can now hold big programs comfortable in the Children's Room. Storytimes are now accessible to all children! Thank you!
The Teen Space has new furniture! These new collaborative tables were purchased with grant funds ("Serving Teens and Tweens" grant brought to you with federal funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners).
The walkway was completed as well. The landscaping also funded by the Trustees of the library. There will be a few more plantings in the spring. In the next couple of weeks, there will be two new signs, also funded by the Trustees.
The last project for this year was painting the Children's Room and Adult Fiction/Nonfiction wing. This was paid for by Building and Grounds budget (maintenance of the building).
As always, if you have any questions, please ask the staff! We are here to help you!

- Fabulous Fibers Exhibit
January - February 2017
Fabulous Fibers are being exhibited during the months of January and February! On display are beautiful handmade quilts, rugs, and felted booties. For the first time, we have weaving on display, featuring wool from rare breeds of sheep. Please come and enjoy these fiber arts.
Fabulous Fibers Roundtable
Wednesday March 15, 2017
6:30 PM until 7:30 PM
Bring your fiber activity (knitting, crocheting, spinning, weaving) and join in a relaxed hour with others. Share your fiber stories, your successes, your failures. This is very informal but a way to share your fiber passions, inspire and be inspired!
- NEW at the Library
The Library has many online resources for you to use from downloading a book or song to learning a language. Sometimes it may be overwhelming to try to learn which resources are most useful to YOU.
The Library now has quick tutorials on how to get started on some of these resources. In most cases, there is a short introduction with additional videos on how to get started. Instructions on how to download books also include specific devices. You'll see them on the Resources and Databases and Downloadable Books as a nifty side slider page! And within those pages, there are also links to the tutorials. We hope they will help you!
We will list here tutorial additions on using social media programs:
